My first language isn’t English or Chinese. Will that affect the result?

Not usually. Hypnosis works with the part of your mind that understands meaning, imagery, and experience, not perfect grammar. We have helped clients around the world achieving their goals despite their first language is not English or Chinese.

What to expect during a session?

During your hypnotherapy session, you can expect deep relaxation and heightened focus. The session usually takes place in a comfortable environment where you can either sit or lie down. Background noise is generally not a problem during the session. Throughout the session, you will hear your hypnotherapist's voice guiding you into a hypnotic state and establishing communication with your deeper mind. We will ask your deeper mind a series of questions, and you will respond through subtle movements of your fingers, indicating Yes or No. This allows your deeper mind to identify and resolve the root cause of your issue. Some people may also experience various sensations, such as warmth, coolness, heaviness, lightness, tingling, or a sense of floating. Some people also report vivid imagery, memories, or emotions. All of which are perfectly normal. Typically, the first session lasts 2-3 hours, while return sessions are around 1-1.5 hours. After the session, you may feel relaxed and rejuvenated, and you might notice positive changes in your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors in the following days and weeks. It's recommended to drink plenty of water and get sufficient rest after the session to support the healing process.

How many sessions are generally required to help achieve one effective outcome?  

It depends on each individual's situations. Based on our experience, most people can achieve significant results through 3-6 sessions. You can contact us for professional evaluation, or start with 3 sessions.

Do I need to go into a very deep hypnotic state for it to work?

Depth is not the goal. The goal is to help you work through what you came for. For many people, this can happen in a lighter hypnotic state — you don’t always need to go very deep for things to shift. At the same time, some experiences sit in deeper layers of your system. In those cases, going deeper can make it easier and more effective to access and resolve what’s underneath. That’s why our hypnotherapy approach is designed to allow you to reach the deepest states available in hypnosis (including the Esdaile state and beyond), whenever your mind feels ready. You always choose the level in each session — you decide how deep you want to go. And with our approach, you don’t have to try hard to go deep. We work with your deeper inner intelligence — the part of you that already knows where the issue is held and how far you need to go to work through it. Some sessions stay light and still bring clarity. Some naturally go deeper because your system allows it. Every session is different, and every person’s experience is unique. Your only job is to relax and enjoy the experience that unfolds naturally for you.

What if I can’t be hypnotized?

It’s a common worry, especially for people who think a lot or like to stay in control. Here’s the simple truth: Hypnosis doesn’t depend on shutting down your mind but it depends on giving your mind something clear to follow. If you can listen to instructions or get absorbed in anything (work, a book, music, driving), then you already enter the same state we use in hypnosis. It’s not a special talent — it’s a natural function of your attention, as nature as you breathe What makes our approach effective is that: You don’t have to “let go". You don’t have to stop thinking, and you don’t have to try to go deep. We work with your analytical mind instead of trying to bypass it. As long as you’re willing to follow our voices, that’s all is needed. We have worked with many people who described themselves as “analytical,” “always thinking,” or “unable to switch off.” They were all able to enter the state needed for their session to be effective.

What do I need to get started?

You don’t need to prepare anything special. All that’s needed is a willingness for change and an openness to the process. This simply means letting go of expectations and allowing your mind to do what it naturally knows how to do. If your session is online, you’ll just need: - a computer, tablet, or smartphone - a stable internet connection - a comfortable place to sit or lie down A quiet space is helpful, but it doesn’t need to be perfectly silent. Everyday sounds, people talking, a door closing, traffic outside, won’t disturb the session. What matters most is that you feel relaxed in the space you choose. That’s all. We’ll take care of the rest and guide you step by step.

What is the First Step in starting first session?

The first step is to schedule a free 30-minute consultation with us. This takes place online via Zoom. During the consultation, we’ll explore your desired outcome and give you a clear sense of what the process feels like and how it works. This conversation gives you space to ask questions and understand the process at your own pace. It also helps us get to know your needs so we can create a plan that truly supports you.

How quickly will I see results?

Everyone’s mind works at its own pace. Some people begin to feel a shift after the first session, while for others, the changes unfold more gradually over several sessions. Both are completely normal. Hypnotherapy isn’t a magic switch or a quick fix. It’s a gentle process of turning inward and allowing your deeper mind to make the changes you’re ready for. You’re an active part of the process, and we’re here to guide and support you every step of the way. Think of it like working with a coach: you bring the intention, and we guide the process so your system can do the work in the way that’s most natural for you.

Can your hypnotherapy help with my specific situation?

Our hypnotherapy supports a wide range of emotional, mental, and physical challenges, including situations that feel layered, unclear, or hard to put into words.
