The client’s belief system is not meant to be changed, challenged, or converted.
The purpose of SP is to ensure that every aspect—real or imagined—is addressed to achieve the desired outcome. We aim to cover all bases, just in case.
SP also incorporates various therapeutic techniques, such as:
- Inner child work
- Regression therapy
- Forgiveness work
- Chair therapy
- Gestalt therapy
- Foundation work
- Soul work
- Change work at the physical, emotional, spiritual, and mental levels
These techniques are employed as needed to facilitate the desired outcome. The entire process is designed to be simple and efficient for both the hypnotist and, most importantly, the client.
SP is a method of using hypnosis to access the client’s mind, including their Higher Mind, to help them achieve the outcome they desire—something they may not be able to accomplish on their own. As Bob Burns aptly put it, "If this was a conscious problem, you would have fixed it by now, wouldn’t you?"
The process involves working through one issue after another until the desired outcome is reached. A single Simpson Protocol session, lasting anywhere from one to two hours, can address multiple issues to help the client achieve their goals.
After the first session, there is no need for a formal induction in future sessions with that client; they will have established triggers.
Simpson Protocol Means
There is no need to guess or try to figure out the ‘problem’.
The Client’s mind knows – let it do its work.
There is no need for any intake from the client.
They are there with an issue – that’s all we need to know.
All the client needs to tell us is that they are willing to go into Hypnosis and allow their Mind to do the work.
The Hypnotist requires no judgment
– just have to follow the process and structure of SP.
The Structure of SP is there as a framework
– that can be changed and adapted for every client when necessary.
Practitioners of SP – say Simpson Protocol is the canvas
– where practitioners get to paint in own style.
Now it also means the Hypnotist has to STAY OUT OF THE WAY of the process.
The Hypnotist is the Guide and Facilitator – not the Controller.
